Like father, like son.
he looks so proud of his daddy… he looks so cute with this giant smile on his beautiful face… he looks SO like a five years old thinking his daddy’s the best of the world… I am totally melting right now.
This just kills me. I cannot imagine what it’s like to have anything like this kind of relationship with one’s father. The pride, trust, innocent love, being physically safe in his presence… I never had that for/with my dad. My daddy was not the best of the world.

Ianto mourns
I wanted to slap Gwen on Ianto’s behalf during this scene.
I wanted to slap her on behalf of everyone.
The other three have way more right to mourn beside Jack than Gwen does. He saved the three of them. He helped them through the hardest points of their lives. They’ve known him for longer, they’ve trusted him for longer, they’ve been grateful to him for longer. Gwen could easily go back to her life with Rhys, but if Jack was gone, the others would have nothing.
Also, really Gwen? If I were here, I’d have spent those days with Rhys. She knows Jack can’t die. But Rhys died and devastated her and then came back. She should be spending time with him!
